Our Vibe

Welcome to the Pottery in George, this is our flagship store where all our inspiration has come from which has led to opening four more stores and counting nationwide.
From humble beginnings starting under an old pottery shed where Wonki Ware™ used to make their creations, we decided to open our own creative café and social restaurant.

Our location in the heart of George is where you can find the leading, internationally renowned Wonki Ware™ ceramic brand and The Pottery social restaurant and creative café. Together with our young dynamic staff, the place comes alive with an electric and vibey feel. We have recently upgraded our premises and renovated our space into a must-visit destination. We have designed the place to be an open-air environment so that our customers can enjoy the fresh air and the sun in our garden oasis in the middle of town.
From serving up the most delicious coffee to our awesome food menu and our vibey nightlife with funky DJs and bands.

While you are sitting in such a creative rich space, feel free to wander into our Creative Station to find one of your favorite Wonki Ware™ ceramic bisque items to paint and get your creative juices flowing. Once you have handed in your masterpiece feel free to come past our store in a week’s time to collect your glazed items which all happens on the premises in our pottery studio handled by our local ceramic artisans.

We are completely family-oriented and pet-friendly with lots of activities for the little ones to the middle ones including ping pong, board games, foosball, trampolines and a jungle gym.
